Detailed Steps

1

Manuscript Submission

Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal's online submission system or official editorial email. Submitted manuscripts must comply with the journal's Author Guidelines, formatting requirements, and ethical standards.

Outcomes:
  • Submission acknowledgement sent to the corresponding author.
  • Manuscript assigned a unique reference number.
2

Initial Editorial Screening

The Editorial Office conducts a preliminary evaluation to verify:

  • Scope of the journal
  • Completeness of submission
  • Formatting requirements
  • Reference style
  • Language quality
  • Ethical declarations
  • Similarity (plagiarism) screening

Manuscripts that fail to meet the journal's basic requirements may be returned to the authors for correction or declined before peer review.

3

Editor Assessment

The Editor-in-Chief or an Associate Editor evaluates the manuscript based on:

  • Originality
  • Scientific contribution
  • Research methodology
  • Novelty
  • Significance
  • Suitability for peer review

Only manuscripts meeting the required academic standards proceed to external review.

4

Double-Blind Peer Review

Eligible manuscripts are sent to at least two independent expert reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

During this stage, authors remain anonymous to reviewers, reviewers remain anonymous to authors, and confidentiality is strictly maintained. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

  • Scientific quality
  • Methodological rigor
  • Innovation
  • Literature review
  • Data analysis
  • Validity of conclusions
  • Ethical compliance
  • Clarity of presentation
5

Reviewer Reports

Reviewers submit detailed reports containing constructive comments and recommendations.

  • Accept without changes
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject

The editorial office carefully considers all reviewer comments before making a decision.

6

Editorial Decision

Based on reviewers' evaluations, the Editor-in-Chief makes one of the following decisions:

  • Accept
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject

The corresponding author receives an official decision letter together with anonymous reviewer comments.

7

Author Revision

If revisions are requested, authors should:

  • Revise the manuscript accordingly.
  • Prepare a detailed response to reviewer comments.
  • Highlight all modifications.
  • Resubmit within the specified deadline.

Failure to respond within the given timeframe may result in withdrawal of the submission.

8

Re-evaluation

Revised manuscripts are evaluated by the handling editor and, where necessary, returned to the original reviewers to verify that all comments have been satisfactorily addressed.

Additional rounds of revision may be requested if required.

9

Final Acceptance

Once the manuscript satisfies all editorial and peer-review requirements, the Editor-in-Chief issues a formal acceptance letter. The manuscript then enters the production stage.

10

Copyediting and Typesetting

Accepted manuscripts undergo professional editorial processing, including:

  • Language editing
  • Grammar correction
  • Formatting
  • Reference verification
  • Typesetting
  • Layout preparation

This stage ensures consistency, readability, and compliance with the journal's publication standards.

11

Proofreading

The corresponding author receives page proofs (galley proofs) for final review. Authors should:

  • Check formatting
  • Verify author information
  • Review tables and figures
  • Correct typographical errors

Only minor corrections are permitted at this stage.

12

Online Publication

After final approval, the article is published in the scheduled issue of RAINCOMES-PAK. Published articles become freely accessible under the journal's Open Access policy and are assigned publication metadata.
